They took to the streets and airwaves, but were the opposite of indignant. Beating the ofay system was grounds for celebration.

While I understand (and agree with) the basic sentiment here, "The Wall" was always a boondoggle.

Somewhere, I have a video which one of our reporters shot, from the Mexican side, after crawling through a large opening which had been cut in one of the longer segments of wall, during the time when Trump was still in office.

It was laughable. The wall looked good from 50 feet away, but up close it was made of really thin, brittle steel which was easily cut through. Like, they (the cartel guy who gets paid to shuttle illegals across the border) actually whipped clean through a section of it in less than two minutes, using one of the gasoline powered cutoff saws which fire-n-rescue crews in the US carry as part of their extrication gear.

When the state of Texas decided to guard the border (not ICE), the surge of migrants all came to California. It's never just one thing. I have little doubt that most will self-deport once Trump gets rolling and all the rules and raids start.

That said, the Turtle froze AGAIN....after his latest fall. I hope he tries to hang on as long as he can, as he's the poster child for Congressional term limits.
