While Im at it, beat this
Fark yeah, STRAYA !
Your supra video shows a car with 1000hp breaking traction after it comes on boost 50m down the road in each gear, it doesnt show a car that smashes the rev limiter before your foot hit the floor.

So we are all agreeing that if you snap open the throttle of a 1000hp supra is has traction for a while as it slowly spools, weight is trnasfered smoothly, allowing you to pedal it, rather than instant torque and lolnotraction?

I guess we're talking about different things. On a supra like that it comes on so hard and unpredictable that most cannot "pedal through it".
You're talking about insta-torque at midrane rpm which is different. IMO instatorque on a blown v8 is actually quite a bit easier to modulate. its much more predictable vs a gigantic turbo coming on full boil.

I agree with you totally.
Im just saying that if you stab the throttle mid range the supra wont send you backwards into a paddock, because if you just stab it open once not much happens.
Insta torque through midrange is what this build is about, with good EBC that allows it to be controlled electronically it should make it very quick and easy to drive. Unlike those things you just said about the supra. This is my plan on making a 400whp 900kg miata easy to drive fast.

Im concerned the small 1.25" runners will be a little limiting up top, at the very least I cannot imagine it NOT being able to make 400 running all of it with the EFR.
Might hurt the 2560 peak figures though.
Time will tell.
How does something like Theseus control boost to keep it driveable? Boost signal pre TB good ebc?
It has a 2871 on a large diametre short runner manifold, I imagine it come on hard and with just a MBC would be very hard to get out of a corner at the limits cleanly.

Temp thread hijack
Dan, what size are these wheels (17 x ?) and do you know or does the owner know what they weigh?
Does he use these on the track?
reply here to stay on topic if you like....
