I'm pretty proud that those are the only two zip ties on my whole entire setup.

Finally got the car running and slightly tuned.

So far initial logs are showing I'm making my boost target 600rpm sooner in 4th gear (3400 vs 4000). Otherwise it's raining and my butt dyno isn't very sensitive so that's all I have to report.

I need to tackle a few small things and then get it inspected, I'll try to get the kinks worked out and out to a dyno in the next few weeks.

Braineack, if you don't mind saying, what diameter is the plenum and what diameter tubing did you use for the runners? Also, any pics of the insides/velocity stacks?

Thanks,
--Ferdi

We made progress with newbsauce's IM today.

Since we used a 70mm 4.6L Mustang TB, it made the IC routing, interesting. I had to run so it didnt get finished :P

When my timing was retarded 10* and it was only 40*F out it seems.

Got to tuning this weekend. spool seems normal, butt dyno isn't sensitive enough to tell a difference from before, so once we finish brad's IM well both go dyno.

Did you change injectors? Ur Duty cycles go from a max of 85 to a max of 42.

I'm using an adjustable FPR. since my DC% was pretty much maxed before, I'm running around 40psi at idle, and it's making 55psi at atmospheric.

What's the thought/science behind the rapid reduction in the middle of the runner vs. a long taper from plenum to port?

i believe the idea was to increase velocity.

i forgot, i have a 2.25" gutted cat in place of my test pipe right now, so i cant compare apples to apples. i guess i should swap that out tonight. but that earlier datalog is no good still, timing was way off and i had a leak at my TB.

Picked up all the hardware to block off the idle valve port on my I/C pipe, and some stuff to make block offs for the mustang TB. Made a little template to block off the mustang idle valve port, but needed stronger material. I should have it all buttoned up tonight, but I probably won't get around to tuning and logs until this weekend.
