Here is a comparison of the brake/clutch line tuck. Notice how busy it looked before. Hopefully this helps with brake fluid temps.

After throwing the engine together: AC Compressor, Alternator, Injectors, Oil sandwich plate, Engine Mounts, Oil Pan and other items… I’ve decided I’ll be converting my Coolant feed lines to AN as well. I picked up a 1/8th NPT to -6AN and then ran the -6 line to the neck coming off the pump.

The next task was to route my new inlet pipe properly. No half assed stuff going on here. Coming off my turbo is a 4 inch inlet so I ran a couple of elbows and then a reducer to bring the setup down to 3 inch. Then I’m routing it through the opening in the front of the fender well.
This is the hole I’ll need to cut.

So I armed my girl with an air saw…. Secret is out of the bag guys, she does all my fabrication work!

So after I took the air saw back from her, I cut the hole, and then I lined it with RTV and rubber tubing.

The fitment came out quite nice. Perfect actually.

Next step was to continue modifying my Catch can. As stated before I’ll be running two -8 AN lines into my catch can and I’ll be mounting a traditional breather out the top of it.

I didn’t get very good pictures of the brake line re-route yesterday so here you are… I have the bias block thing mounted behind the cowl now, along with the clutch and brake lines. You can see in the pic above- it really cleans things up on the fire wall.
They go in here:

Come out here:

Oh yeah, I mocked up my vacuum distribution block too.. Pretty lil sum bish huh?

The engine is about ready to drop in - I'll likely have it put bolted in tonight.

Very nice.

Why not keep the inlet 4 inch all the way though? Afraid to weaken the fenderwell too much with that big a hole? It would bug the heck out of me if my turbo inlet tapered a whole inch, but what evs.

The reduction shouldn't do a thing. It's just the anti surge housing that's 4 inches. The actual inlet for the turbo is probably 2 inches.

My spidey sense says something about flow velocity changing abruptly like that causing more resistance, but I can't point to anything that would support that right now. I'm with 18psi, I wouldn't want my inlet to get smaller like that, especially that abrubtly.

It's also a reduction in the right direction of flow... It's technically going FROM 3 inch TO a 4 inch. My other option is to reduce it directly at the turbo.. 4 inch intake is quite unnecessary. Also- the wheel well doesn't leave much room for anything bigger. I'm cutting it close with the 3 inch.

That took a surprisingly long time for somebody to point out the attractive female in the pictures.

I think most of us just want him to keep posting pics like that and didn't want to bring it up like little high school boys making him not want to do it any more and possibly removing the ones he already posted.

Bryan please include your woman in more of your pictures. Just when I thought your pictures couldn't get sexier, they did

Fo sho. Odd seeing a cute one who's not having to be paid to hang out with car guys.... But then again, most car guys are fat ugly messes and a waste of protein.

I noticed your using a bolt hole to run one of your brake lines, You might want to do something about that or it might look like this again...

It's solid mounted to both sides and currently has a plastic sleeve on it Good looking out though.

I've decided I would let her run my air saw, if she wished.

Everything's looking great.

Need videos of your fabricator using the air saw, to the tune of Satisfaction, by Benny Benassi.
