What are everyone's thoughts on me replacing my old 1.6 injector harness with the 2001 injector harness I have in the garage? Can someone tell me which wires to pair together on the injector harness for batch-fire? I suppose I will find some wire diagrams and try to figure out which wire goes where from the 1.6 to the new harness, I will use the 2001 connectors.
Any reason why you want to swap that section of the injector harness?
If you were to convert it you would hook the signal wires from 1/4 and 2/3. I am not sure what colors those are and I am to lazy to look at an 01 harness diagram right now. You might also have to change the connector in your stock harness to work with the newer one. I do not know if those plugs are the same.
Honestly I do not think it is worth doing it you are not swapping to sequential fuel.

The plugs physically line up and clip into place.
I have the complete 2001 engine harness so I have the connectors to convert.
I do not have an 01 injector harness so I am not sure which plug it is. Would it be possible for you to get me a picture of the connector that goes from the main harness to the injector harness? Just so then I know which plug to look for on the harness I do have.
I also just keep laughing at you and ms2. MS3x is where it is at. I don't understand the big reluctance to it. It does all of what ms2 does and then more and has the option for new features in the future. From what I hear they are working on traction control now.

The big issue is that I committed for MS2 from Reverant.

Put that on DD. Then man up and sell mspnp, then install MS3x on the turbo car. If you honestly want to start swapping injector harnesses and such you might as well dive in and convert to a much better system.
**** it. If I move to Dallas I am going to break into your garage and do all this **** one weekend when you are off visiting the BF.

Again, I'm not really electing to swap the harness over, the old harness is so old and brittle that it's a liability.
What's the issue with putting the MSPNP in the DD and the MS2 in the turbo? Makes perfect sense to me, the DD doesn't need anything more than the basics, but you seem to be avoiding that easy answer for some reason.
Honestly Reverant's Enhanced MS2 is good stuff. But it's still no ms3. I can't wait to work on all the goodies this year, like traction control and geared boost control.

on the cheap. Keep it in the family. Or trade me your paperweight MSPNP.
