Took the car out for one last time today, ran the RS3s instead of the hoosiers and did a 1:26.8 personal best on street tires which Im pretty sure is the fastest street tire Miata around PIR. Car was flawless with the exception of the brakes which was to be expected, those are on the list of upgrades for winter. The cage helped chassis rigidity to no end, the MCS are really able to take advantage of the stiffer platform.

Young padawan refused to listen, and has destroyed Brakes Version 2. Perhaps Version 3 will incorporate our suggestions

Good laptimes Martin, and well done destroying yet another set of brakes without destroying the car.

I think I might have a pair of non sport rotors laying around if you want them.

He has 1.6 rotors. Those aren't the problem, he can't dissipate the heat.

Bigger the better, I think he's got some 2 piston evo rear calipers and Elise rotors planned.

So ugly that it looks awesome, love it. Especially the picture where it is contrasted next to the Ferrari...Mad Max!

Martin brought Laz buy once the racing season finally ended to clean up the MSM install. I still need to lengthen the return line to get it off the intake manifold, but after a little scrubbing and some wire tucking, it's looking much better than before.

Props for moving of the relay box to the firewall. Cute little heat shield, also.

Engine bay looks amazing, keep your eyes peeled for big updates including a BBK and an engine build
here's a small one to tide you over, forum member Humming graciously sent Laz a set of grippy pedal covers to try out, can't wait to install them.

And the basis for the BBK, Lotus AP racing calipers

More info on the calipers?

That engine bay looks great, if I had to nag, or notice something, I'd say route the fuel feed line between the intake manifold and the engine, by the injectors.

Does Humming make those pedals for others? Or more of a friendly favor?

They are oem lotus Elise calipers, radial mount made by AP racing. The fuel line will get redone when the motor is yanked to do a mild build with rods, etc.
humming will make them for you im sure. Check out his FB page and shoot him a message.

I just took off the rubber covers on my pedals and put grip tape on them. Works fine. Reapply once a year.

got to drive some fun cars recently as well.
Aston Martin v8 vantage, Cobra replica with a beefy 427, and an LS2 swapped 944. All v8, all do different to drive.
