guise. I need a VICS plumbing diagram.

It goes to the pressure switch on the P/S Pump. When you turn the wheel, P/S pressure drops since the pump is now doing work to move the wheels. This signal goes to the ECU and the ECU cracks the idle valve open a bit more to prevent the engine RPM from dropping due to the added load.

Need a picture of how to plumb the "VICS" solenoid I have.

-aidan

Yeah here you gotta have AC. Houston traffic in the summer sucks big time without a/c!
It's the one in this photo:

Ok, while Ed is driving to idaho, I'm going to give a quick "state of the turbofan car" speech.

Its getting there. The suspension is together, wheels are on, its a roller. The engine is in, filled with oil, and the wiring is all done. I need to wrap the harness changes I made for spark, and pull some wires through the firewall, but otherwise its ready to button up. Ed left this morning at 2:30 for idaho, but I'm not sure how much he got done last night after I left. Goal is get it road ready by monday. It won't be track ready, but it will be road ready. If it werent for the fact that Ed is gone all weekend, and I am moving all weekend, we could easily pull a 48 hour stretch and get this car ready for the track. But that just isn't happening. Family comes first, and so does having a place to live.

The current plan is as follows. (I need to double check with everyone involved)

Friday: Dash harness shows up. Me and possibly yank are going to go over after work and get that installed, engine bay buttoned up and shoot for first start. If it starts I'm driving it, already told ed that. Bottom end wasn't touched, just a new head, so no break-in required.

Saturday: Get the car to AR, still doesn't have a windshield, so I'll bring my goggles. Martin will be doing an alignment on it. Glass is still up in the air. If we could coordinate, and have someone meet the car at AR to put glass on it that would be ideal.

Locals, who do we contact for glass.

After alignment its up to Ed. He will be back on sunday evening and if I'm done moving I will be able to help. I really hope the car starts easily tonight, otherwise its going to be a long night.

@curly, @greddygalant, @yank this all sound right? Martin, if the car drives tonight can I bring it to your place tonight instead of driving it tomorrow? I will be moving all day and short on time. Has no windshield or top.

The Profec B-spec II controls boost very nicely, but the downside to it (at the reason I switched to the built-in MS3 controller) is it's got a 1-d boost target, and can't do different boost levels at different throttle positions.

Its going to be used at the start because we are short on time. I'm still running a wire into the engine bay for when we install one in the future.

just needs the soft top anchors mounted to the bulkhead.

But a top with no windshield is just a parachute.
