Covid kills through thrombosis.
The Covid virus enters through ACE2 receptors in cells. The places in the body where the greatest number of ACE2 receptors reside are the lungs, the liver, and the endothelial cells, which line the blood vessels. When endothelial cells contain the virus, they become inflamed and swell. This swelling causes the cells not to fit properly against one another and then Von Willebrand Factor (VWF), a clotting agent, is released from behind those cells into the bloodstream. Blood clots then form in many of the capillaries throughout the body. Cells die in every organ and throughout the body due to lack of bloodflow. The "ground glass" look in some lung imaging is tens of thousands of tiny blood clots. Straight oxygen or ventilators wouldn't help people with no bloodflow for gas exchange in the lungs.
A useful intervention is pulling blood from the body, oxygenating it, and returning it. Mild blood thinners can reduce clotting. Antioxidants can reduce inflammation and the cytokine storm. Quercetin, a zinc ionophore, can allow zinc to enter cells and interrupt the virus replication process. N-acetyl cysteine significantly reduces oxidative stress at a cellular level. D3, zinc, and vitamin K2 bolster the immune system.
The lack of D3 from sunlight exposure is why "cold and flu season" exists.

With birth control pills and other contraceptives being completely free*, I can only conclude that abortion is a political red-herring. It seems to be a cultivated issue used to distract from real issues rather than one of organic importance.
