Do you know nothing about cars?


I make the assertion that Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Jaguars over 120,000 miles will cost 70% or more of their actual cash value for each additional 20,000 miles driven.

 

I mentioned that I feel strangely about adults that go to Disney unaccompanied by children.

It occurred to me that I similarly feel strangely about people who insist on carrying small dogs with them everywhere they go in life.

 

My friend Jon, who I've known since high school, still lives in FL. Their two kids are grown and out of the house, and he and his wife have become a Disney couple. Annual passes, bought a camper which they hardly ever take anyplace than Ft. Wilderness, etc.

I spent a day with them at Epcot last year, during the Food & Wine festival, and that felt like a pretty normal adult activity.

Going there once or twice a month I don't quite understand.

I will say, however that it makes more sense to me than couples who drag infants or toddlers there. A 3 year old child isn't going to remember a trip to Disney, and will likely spend just as much time crying or sleeping as anything else.

I wrote an AI script for my city that allows them to create resident polls that are as neutral as possible. It took a while, but didn't cost $1 billion. For reference, the city charged an outside firm $38,000 for an unbiased city poll about safety and security, which was the impetus for my project.
