I was in Santa Fe last month. I thought it was absolutely wonderful. It could have been partly due to the large dose of psilocybin I ingested while walking around the desert at sunset.

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with murder for allegedly deliberately mowing down a bicyclist in a stolen car — egged on by two other boys, including a gun-waving 11-year-old who laughed as they filmed the deadly crash, according to cops.
Johnathan Overbay was allegedly behind the wheel around 4:40 a.m. May 29 last year when he intentionally swerved off the road and struck Scott Dwight Habermehl, 63, who was biking to his job at the Sandia National Laboratory, according to the Albuquerque Police Department.
The young teen was busted after cops were tipped off to a sickening video of the crash being shared on social media.

Albuquerque... yeah. There's a reason it was the setting for Breaking Bad.
Being adjacent, we travel through NM quite a bit. Almost everywhere you stop is run down and covered in trash. It's a shithole. No offense to our NM MT.netters, because it's a shame that such a beautiful state should be like that. There are some very nice places in NM, but most of it is nasty.

Someone I follow said this of the JFK files-
"there will be so many fake reports and so much tinsel in this massive pile of mess that there will simply be no way to arrive at any sort of ground state truth.
the CIA had lots of time to make up fake stories here to CYA and "paper the file" and they were notorious back in the day for having large networks of fake operatives they used to generate fake intel and to steal bribe money for themselves or other purposes.
there will be no "bottom of this" to get to, just a rabbithole of mirrors in which everyone will be able to find some doc to wave around that suits their hobbyhorse but where the whole will amount to nothing but self-contradictory bales of yarn with no obvious beginning or end.
this will be a massive confirmation bias trap and one we need to be very careful of."

Psilocybin tends to add a sense of well-being and contentment. It also does wonderful things for people with a history of psychological trauma. It has a great therapeutic benefit for people who have been abused and soldiers who have PTSD. It is another example of gross governmental overreach that it is illegal at all.
Interesting-
The latest polling paints a bleak picture. A punishing NBC News poll found that only 27% of Americans have a favorable view of the Democratic Party, with just 7% saying they feel strongly positive about it. Meanwhile, a 55% see the party in a negative light, marking its lowest approval rating since 1990.
It doesn't get much better in other surveys. A CNN poll put the party's favorability at just 29%, the worst rating it has recorded since 1992.

Great news! After an unexpected nine-month ordeal in space, astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are finally back on solid ground--and they weren't alone.
They returned alongside NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, all of whom splashed down off the coast of Florida aboard SpaceX's Crew Dragon.
Originally, Butch and Suni were only supposed to spend eight days on the International Space Station, but a catastrophic failure with Boeing's Starliner capsule turned it into a 270-day nightmare. Instead of a quick mission, they were left in limbo, uncertain when--or how--they'd make it home.
Elon Musk joined Hannity Tuesday evening, and he revealed a detail that should infuriate every American.
Musk shared that SpaceX could have rescued the astronauts stranded in space for nine months "after a few months at most."
He offered to bring them home, but the Biden administration, who was in office at the time, "rejected" his offer for "political reasons."

Pretty much exactly what I've been saying.
Which is why I am so puzzled by Braineack, et. al, making such a big deal about "The Release."
To me, this seems like just Bread and Circuses on the part of the Trump administration, designed to provide fodder for the masses to distract themselves with as they argue back and forth about what is, effectively, non-information.
Distracted from what, however, is the more important question.
If my interpretation of this is correct, then things are either happening or about to happen which the President and his cabinet hope that We The People will ignore.
When someone has spent so much time on social media that their grip on reality has loosened, they are often implored to "touch grass"--get offline, go outside, smell the roses. It's meant as a reminder that there's a living, breathing world right there that can restore their health, if only they would venture out to it.
There should be a similar saying for people who have overindulged in disposable online content, reminding them to reconnect with the world of art and culture. "Touch paper," perhaps. Hold vinyl. Flip playbills. Browse shelves.
The internet has solved the problem of boredom, inundating us with abundant entertainment, letting us scroll to the end of the universe, never bereft of content. And that's the problem. We're so busy consuming that we risk losing sight of what truly nourishes us. Our social media diets are making us cultural slovens, overstuffed with the digital equivalent of candy and fried chicken.

President Trump's supercilious comments about Canada becoming the "51st State" have apparently precipitated the blunt-force shoe-horning-in of Central Banker, Mark Carney to replace the despised Justin Trudeau as Canada's Prime Minister.
The "51st State" Beast Mode comments have succeeded in unleashing Überglobalist Mark Carney upon the Canadian populace, whose tyrannical regime will hopefully wake up a lot more Canadians.
While in France, Carney declared Canada the "Most European of non-European countries" and he is now asserting the Carbon Credit CBDC over Canadians, calling it a "requirement" to trading with the UK, EU and Asia and asserting that Trump's eventual successor will cave in to his agenda.
Last month, President Trump adviser, Peter Navarro was rumored to have pushed for the US to remove Canada from the Five Eyes Alliance. With the Trump administration's pivot to Russia, the feeling seems to be mutual. Those Five Eyes members who wish to continue warring with Russia ad infinitum are considering scaling back the intelligence they share with the US.
This is what likely spurred unelected Prime Minister Carney to make a new intelligence-sharing alliance with France. It's not inconceivable that this could escalate into Trump shutting out all of the Commonwealth countries from the current Five Eyes Alliance (FVEY), which could leave them rather flat-footed.
As with NATO, US Taxpayers shoulder the vast majority of the cost of this alliance. FVEY was created after World War II as part of the Postwar "Rules-Based" Order, which has now come to an end.

I'm mostly keeping an eye on the major stock indices as the President deliberately drives down the markets in order to create short-selling / stock-buyback opportunities for his patrons.
I'm not quite brave enough to short the S&P, but I have moved a fairly large chunk of cash into my brokerage account in anticipation of a forthcoming buy signal.

Yeah....its gonna happen. There are forces pushing back against it though..."]https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.miataturbo.net-vbulletin/530x555/interesting_take_e466567e13180b86ad0902fdee498f12a 31e4c71.jpg[/img]
Yeah....it's gonna happen. There are others trying to do the opposite though...
