I would hope we can all agree that it is OK to criticize the government, regardless of which political party is in power at any given time.
On November 6, 2024, in his electoral victory speech, President-elect Trump stated that "I'm not going to start wars, I'm going to stop wars."
Today, June 21, 2025, the US began bombing Iran, a country with which it was not at war last November, nor at any point since until a few hours ago, and which has not made any hostile actions towards the US.
Is making this observation symptomatic of TDS?
I'd actually like to admit to "ODS", because I think Obama hated the U.S. and gave billions to our enemies to make us weaker.
The Middle East would be a completely different place without the influence of Iran.
Remember back in 2001, when Iraq definitely had WMDs, because President Bush told us that they did?
This time, it's totally different, though.
This time is different for sure, and you know it is, but I get your point.
This time, no one was invaded with the intent of removing the current regime. Time will tell if that is where this will end
And I'm not saying it was the right thing to do nor am I saying it was the wrong thing to do since I have no idea, and neither does anyone not in that tight knit group, on why the decision was made to do what they did.
However, I would rather the US stays out of the world police business. Just because you're the biggest and the baddest doesn't mean that you always have to step in to save the day, or so you think. Especially when we have enough issues to deal with here at home.
I've often thought that if Iran had a nuke, they'd use it on Israel. And if they did, it would probably have a North Korean nuclear signature. In fact I wonder if Iran bought a nuke from the Norks with that pallet of cash from Obama...
So Iran sent notice ahead of time that they were going to bomb Qatar, and with only a few missiles - supposedly one for every bomb the US just dropped. They were all intercepted and there were no reported casualties. Looks to be nothing more than face-saving posture on their part.
I'm going to go with the 4th definition of the word. Hopefully, Trump will take it the same way and just let things chill now.
Is this making National News? It should be. I don't watch TV news so I wouldn't know.
This is one incident of sixty children. I cannot imagine nor do I want to believe how many others there might be.
This to me is in order of magnitudes more important than B2's and megaspending bills. Nasty "human beings" are trafficking our children. This is really happening and it should be priority number one. **** everything else.
