I think you're going about this all wrong. If the smoke is from burning oil, you need to eliminate the source. Plug the oil line to the turbo, or better yet, drain all the oil from the engine. No more smoke!

Hmm. First option is too much trouble for me.

Drain the oil.

You are missing an opportunity here. Replace the oil with water to steam clean allthethings as it runs. The trubo and engine will never get dirty inside!

It happens after sitting still idling for 5 mins.

It's pretty much straight up and down.

Reused my old feed line for regulator to turbo.

One line left to make to connect block to regulator.

I really hope this does it, but I'm also still doubting its the turbo. Last time it smoked was after idling for 5 minutes, in which time it should have been able to drain out.

Fingers crossed.

I still have my header and downpipe if you need to borrow them.

Thanks. I should be able to piece something together. I actually found an NB1 manifold in my backyard yesterday. Probably have a downpipe in the blackberries there too.

Pull header off nb2 that's sitting there. Use your welder to connect it to your 3" exhaust.

I think your problem is that there just isn't enough stuff strewn around your engine bay yet. Up your game. Smoke goes away.

Remove PCV and vent intake manifold directly into the block. Extra pressure will help the rings and put back-pressure on the seals to help keep the oil in the pan.

or even better vent it into the exhaust manifold and gain 5,000,000hp from the turbine

Yeah, but if you vent it post turbine it'll help cool the exhaust. That will counter the added heat from the turbo and make the exhaust gasses contract and pressure will drop. I bet you gain 300RPM of spool as it literally sucks the exhaust through the turbine.
