You are not the first person to put a VVT engine into an NA. Is the engine leaning back? PPF disconnected from the trans? Or is this hood not stock?

Single-layer but with ribs...just a vacuum bagged OEM design. It's hitting vent-hole starts. I'll deal with it next week. I have another hood but it's the wrong color. This is getting in the way of my iRacing rig purchase.

i got your iracing needs dude. I've been writing about pc stuff for years, **** ton of pc parts around the house. you can haz logitech g25 wheel, pedals, and shifter, amd 6-core black edition proc, mainboard, new pc chassis, **** ton of gaming keyboards and mice around here. the wife was bitching about the wheel just last night. only parts i dont have is ram, psu, and video card.

PS: coincidentally ive been coveting your hood, dibs

I'd love to help out, but I am going to try to make the hood work. I luvs it, like a person. Using that hood will also save me money in the paint booth.

Just got the engine timed and realized the water pump hub is bent, lololol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can only think of 2 shops that I would trust to actually work on your car and know what they are doing.
