Dude, you have to listen to that Rogan episode with Mike Benz #2272... half of the episode explains in detail exactly why USAid funds stuff like this and sends money to terrorists and, and, and, and...

Late to respond to this, but.... on that list there are people who were 180 years old and older. Social security was started 90 years ago so if you were 90 years old in 1935, I guess it's possible that you could've gotten a SS#.

Segue for you millenials, # = number.

Anyhow, how is it even possible to be more than 200 years old and get a SS#? Something can't be right there. Unless Count ******* Dracula and his peeps got SS#'s after 1935 and used their actual DOB, those numbers are just unbelievable. 1,000 people 220 years old?

I was today years old when I learned a statistic which is simultaneously horrifying and also provides great clarity:

3.3 million people in Illinois is on Medicaid.

Out of a population of 12.7 million.

1 out of 4.

Not Medicare, which is something that all senior citizens are eligible for, but Medicaid.

So when you exclude the 2.2 million Illinoisans who are 65-and-up, it gets even worse: 31.5%

That blew my mind. I genuinely would not have guessed that nearly 1 in 3 non-retired people in Illinois are on the dole.

It's no wonder that we consistently vote communist.

I've had a similar "come to Jesus" moment about taxes. On one hand, Thomas Jefferson said most bad government comes from too much government. And I agree. I also agree that no one gets elected into politics by saying that they'll give you less.

This is why Trump's tariff idea was interesting, and off-base. I'd never thought of it before. Thoughts? 86On

That is the most succinct explanation I've heard about the Ukraine war. It left out some of the financial motivation behind the scenes but it was very good.

Here's the rest of the story from a different angle.

With regard to the Gaza situation, the left have latched onto America's patronage of Israel as the Very Bad Thing™, a point on which I happen to agree, though likely for different reasons.

So why not in the Black Sea region? Why aren't the leftists blaming the US (and those European NATO countries which are actually near the North Atlantic) for the Ukrainian conflict? What makes that particular western colonialist expansion special, especially in light of the fact that Russia has, for the past century, leaned heavily in the direction of Marxism, an ideology which is widely cherished among the anti-western American left?

The American people have been fed a very simple propaganda line. "Russia is a big country. Ukraine is a small country..."

We didn't hear the real timeline or the monetary motivation. Everyone flying the Ukraine flag as a result of the media pushing the storyline directed by the US government has been outed as being a "useful idiot."

When you only hear one narrative, that's all you know. See also "Orange Man Bad" and "Covid Vax Good."

When the USSR fell, in many respects it was the "good guys" who overthrew the Communists in order allow it to happen. Reagan really did outspend the USSR into failure, IMO.

But if you saw the video I posted, USA and the Europeans couldn't resist the temptation to push for NATO expansion towards Russia, even though Russia warned against it.

At one level you could discuss ideological differences between the plebes, but at the state level you have people who could make money with government contracts. With DOGE, it's become so apparent that there's a second level of government we've only imagined that takes a SIGNIFICANT portion of our tax dollars. They'll take graft by sending munitions to new NATO countries or to support "moral wars", and they'll get the solid support of mainstream media, who up until recently were paid by USAID. More conflict just means more opportunity for graft. It's sad and it's sick.
