I think he's talking about the McStruts.

Which doesn't necessarily make the handling worse, but all else being equal, makes the car eat tires in hard driving.

It's the GReddy Scion Formula Drift car driven by Ken Gushi.

I heard leaf springs are only for trucks and any car using those has an inferior suspension design to Miatas.

Passing inspection? ;-)

How are people passing OBD after modifying their cars these days anyhow?

I got to race the Scion FR-S on the BC Champs autoslalom track. It was an amazing vehicle, and I can definitely see picking one up in a few years. Just doesn't fit my vehicle requirements at the moment. Gear box & clutch were slick and predictable, tail end came out just enough before the traction control kicked in, and a really good power band.

If the FR-S was a human, it would look and act and dress like Justin Bieber.

I have contacted a dealer about getting one. Gotta at least give a test drive.

No idea what I'm going to do about pulling the utillity trailer or the camper, but we'll cross that bridge (it's a mother beautiful bridge, and it will be there) when we get to it.
