should be significant when done properly. When plumbed to the intake, you'll see like 1-2 ~Hg in boost.

you could always put in a 1way valve
all the vacuum without any of the pressure

but all is rhetorical till he spends the 5 minutes and 10 dollars on a vacuum/psi gauge and installing it.

I was like "one way check valve! That's a great idea!!" but I think his slash cuts do have check valves in there right now. If they do, then he shouldn't be getting pressure from that unit.
Min, do you have check valves in there??

Yup got the moroso check balves on thrm. Tested thrm by blowing on em. Yes i know mu mouth can barely do 3psi. I tested that.

Gauge on them will be challenging. They arre -12 lines and the exhaust fitting are big ol holes too.

I too have wondered if i am pressurizing. Imma gonna jerry rig somr typr of vta setup abd test.

And btw i did make 398hp on old setup dammit.

1.) Someone with a little forethought would have put a test port in the valve cover when you were having it welded up. It's really not too late, considering how easy it is to pull the valve cover and carry it to the welding shop and have another port welded on.

2.) For $50 you can piece something together from these guys:

http://www.anplumbing.com/Adapters/Aluminum-14.html

Specifically a 926112 -12 female/male/male tee, and a 9892126 -12 to -6 reducer, and a $.50 brass barb fitting from Home Despot should get you set up.

I screwed a barb into a metal oil cap.

Here is my high tech american engineered crankcase pressure measuring device.

i went for a drive on the wet roads nd surprise! No pressure in crankcase. Hmm. I then looked at my engine bay and saw that my valve cover gasket was leaking A LOT. i am waitin for car to cool then will pull valve cover and see whats up.

Interestigly, i did not see any tailpipe smoke either.

I am suspecting that my valve cover baffles may have come unsealed and oil was getting into the baffles. I have a pretty well reaearched baffle and vent method and i will take some pics when it is apart.

Too much homogay?

You're never going to get those baffles to seal back up to a complex, porous aluminum casting that has been continuously soaked in hot oil for the last 10 years. I wouldn't even bother trying at this point. Instead, I would move your baffles to your catch can.

I used half a tube of RTV on top of the existing RTV that I already had sorta sealing the baffles. It is now super sealed.

I went for a drive to test things out.

At 20psi, all was fine. I also didn't see any psi on my crankcase wundertester. No smoke out of tailpipe either which = no bad blowby

Turned it up to 30psi.

All fine again... -_- I am not certain that my tester was working properly. With my old turbo and a single -12 line, I saw 1-2 psi of crankcase pressure at 25-30psi. Maybe this extra line is enough? I also did not see vacuum on the crankcase either.

I did however, see a pretty big oil leak coming from my fuking oil drain line at the turbo. Damnit that motherukfer is not fun to get to and i may have to pull hotside to get to it :(

Anyways, I am not sure what was going on. Maybe oil was getting into the baffles because i didn't spoodge the baffle lids enough??? I are happy though. Car felt good in boost and spinning cold summer tires in 4th really isn't that bad. Even though the car goes sideways it still moves forward in a straight line

Dyno is scheduled for next saturday!!!!!!!

Going to test:

QSV: open/closed, tune.
ALLOFIT: I think I will be able to run 36ish psi with my current fuel system. I spoke with eliminator77 for a while and I may be trading my ID1000 for his old ID2000 injectors. I'm also gonna swap out alternators and see if that fixes my voltage drop beforehand.
