IDK, I kinda like the imperfection. But I'll withhold final judgment until I see it in the bay with the rest of your accessories.

lol exactly.

It's one of those things, it's not like you were going to completely polish it. That is way too blingy for my tastes. He was going for brushed aluminum, and he got brushed aluminum. No reason to make it "perfect" anyways.

I think it looks good. I do prefer hammer or wrinkle finish black though, like on Bryan's car.

curious to see how it will look all finished. Probably really good.

EO2K - Because you can't have a car that looks nice and performs well?

Fireindc - Just because you have low standards doesn't mean you should try and bring down Vlad's.

turbofan - Don't you have some wheels to be picking out for your GTO?

18psi - That will do as a stop-gap measure, but you owe it to yourself to step up your game once the car is running right.

Uhm, but it does look great as is. Unless he is going for a full polish why even bother wasting more time on a valve cover? What exactly could look better about it? it looks like brushed aluminum.

I like the way yours looks a lot more. That ones almost polished, yours is more of an industrial look.

I'm biased though, as mine looks similar to yours.

This.

A cotton polishing wheel is the key to speedy car part polishing.

I do a polishing service at the family owned biker shop and thats what i mostly use

I don't want a polished vc tho.

If it won't be brushed alum, it will be powdercoated. Those are the only 2 choices.

If you want a perfect finish then polish it and then brush it into a single direction although that would be quite hard. The main thing to brushed aluminum though is the single direction lines otherwise it just looks like an unfinished mess.

Or just slap it on as is, and make enough power to make up for it.
