Bat inc probably has fire sleeve that would be big enough to fit over heater hose.

So after a few hours the rain stopped and it cleared up. I went out to working on hood alignment and height of the hood pins. After I opened the latches they then would not close on their own. I had to use my key as a lever of sort to get them to close. Yes I lubricated them with WD-40 as the directions say to do. Before I installed them and the first few times I put latched them this afternoon they were fine. Does anyone have any ideas?

Our racecar has the same issue. Do they close fine with the pin not engaged in the latch (hood open)?

No, was having the same issue with hood open or closed. I will be messing with them more today and re-lubing them.

Should I cut holes in the black middle bar so more air can pass through?

No, it's not fed by anything in the bumper. And don't do what I did and cut a hole in the bumper, it's a bitch to duct. Remember, Sav made his bumper opening smaller.

Just got my valve cover back from the machine shop. It has a -6AN fitting on the passenger side that will be capped. The driver side has a -10AN installed to go to my catch can. The plan is to now clean the valve cover and paint it. I will also post some pictures of my FM LS coil brackets later.

I am not the only one doing it.

In all honesty I was getting a lot of oil into my intake manifold from that line. Both hustler and Failflora run their cars that way and it has helped them.
