Car is running. It leaks oil though from sandwhich plate where my oil lines hook up. I will have to fix that tomorrow. Braineack helped me get my car started and idling over gchat. I have to say that these ID1000's ------- rock. I could hold a consistent idle from 13.1:1-17.5:1afrs. My old DW1000's never idled as well as the ID1000's. Hopefully tomorrow I fix the oil leaks then throw on some tires and go out and do some street tuning.

I am picking up a 1" deep socket tomorrow, which I have been told is the correct size for the fittings. Hopefully with that I can get it tight enough to stop leaking so I can go drive my damn car.

Except for the fact that Joe Perez has actually recommended the glow shift sandwich plates in this thread here. I did search a good bit before I bought the glowshift plate. It has gotten reasonably good approval from users on this site.

That is npt. That should be fairly tight. I would try white permatex high temp thread sealer. I always put that on my npt fitings and they dont leak. Unlike teflon tape it wont clog your shiz.
You have to wipe off surfaces first abd then let the stuff dry overnight. If not, it will disintegrate.
It also has a fantastic smell. Buy an extra tube for huffing fun.

The car is back on the road. After using the thread sealer and tightening the crap out of the 2 fittings they are no longer leaking. I took it for a brief drive around my neighborhood while auto-tuning. It was correcting a ton of things, as the ID's are a good bit better then the DW so the fuel table was a good bit off. Then I had to call it a night. There was to much traffic out to get out on actual roads and get into boost any, and it started to rain. When I get back in town next week I am planning on going for a few nice long drives to do a good amount of auto-tuning and make sure that there are no other issues before I drive the car to Road Atlanta next weekend for the Mitty.
Here is a funny picture of how I have to keep my magic funnel up straight.

It is an adaptation of hustlers funnel mask, ask him for all the kinky details.
Basically it makes burping coolant easy. You fill it with water and it creates the highest point with water in the system. That way air bubbles get forced out as the car warms up and cools down. Was completely worth the $30 on amazon for it.
