Huh.

I sure would like to see a citation for that claim. Or even an explanation of who "they" are in this context. There are a lot of regulatory agencies, doubly so in CA.

The wonderful thing about Climate Change is that you can blame anything on it.

More rain than usual? Climate change.

Less rain than usual? Climate change.

Hotter and windier than usual? Climate change.

Ford ships a half a million trucks with a ball joint that isn't actually bolted to the control arm? Systemic racism caused by climate change.

It all makes sense now. I call it the "Oliver Twist Syndrome." This is when Californians are lulled into thinking that they don't deserve TOP QUALITY SERVICES AND QUALITY OF LIFE for the exorbitant tax dollars we pay into the system. The orphans were aghast when Oliver wanted more gruel for dinner. They were so used to being beaten down by the system and expecting less that asking for more came as a shock.

We don't ask for more because "it's a drought", or we're running a deficit and can't fix the roads, or "the money needs to go to free healthcare for non-citizens." IT'S A LIE. More is there, but the government would rather spend money on THEIR needs, not OURS.

We deserve more; More water, cheaper water, more water pressure. We deserve a WORLD-CLASS electric grid with plenty of back-up power. We deserve highways that aren't under a constant 20 year construction process, and toll roads that revert back to free ON TIME....and so much more. Don't settle.

Aaaah, Chicago.

As many people know, we are a Sanctuary City. This means that we have a law on the books, the so-called Welcoming City Ordinance, which grants illegal immigrants’ access to all city services, and prohibits all city employees, including the Police, from enquiring as to the immigration status of illegals, sharing information about illegals with Federal immigration authorities, or cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement in any way, including by holding illegals in custody in response to ICE warrants and detainer hold requests.

Now, there is a proposed ordinance before the City Council which would enact certain limitations on that law. Specifically, it would permit the Police
to cooperate with federal immigration authorities when someone is arrested or convicted for crimes that are gang-related, prostitution-related, drug-related or for sex crimes that involve a child.

Predictably, the lefties are protesting against it in the lobby of City Hall at this very moment.

The City Council is expected to vote this afternoon.

...... and the vote is in.

The Chicago City Council has voted 39 - 11 to block the proposed ordinance.

So Chicago Police will continue to be prohibited from cooperating with ICE concerning illegal immigrants who are involved in gang violence, narcotics distribution, sex trafficking, or the rape of children.

I'm not exaggerating that at all.

I'm just spitballing here, but I wonder if it's based on the evil intoxication some feel when exerting control or dominion over others. Obviously, certain individuals crave that absolute power over others politically, in business, or personally, so I wonder if their ultimate evil fantasies are fulfilled in dominating and staining the meekest and most pure among us. They need to ruin what is better and more pure than themselves, perhaps?

I wonder if the other midwest states could sue Chicago for the drug trafficking and related gang violence spilling out into nearby america, presumably northward and eastward along the 80/90 corridor.

Come on, now. Illegal alien child rapists are voters, too, you know.

Woah buddy, those "child rapists" just need to learn how to live in our society. Give them time, let them rape a little and get it out of their systems but I assure you, we can fix them as long as we refrain from any sort of punishment or accountability, just let them learn that it's bad on their own.

Diversity is our strength.

Social programs buy votes that go against the values of the responsible working class who pay for them.

We have become complacent and easily manipulated.

Everyday I wake up and feel dumber then the previous.

Soon I may just shrug and not go to work so I don’t have to witness half of my income being used against me.

In this episode of "News Braineak Would Post":

Former owner of Tampa drag bar Southern Nights facing child **** charges

The former owner of a thriving Tampa Bay drag and LGBTQ bar and his partner are facing "extremely serious" allegations of child sexual exploitation and child pornography charges, according to federal court documents seen by The Independent.

Richard Kowalczyk, 44, who until recently owned the well-known LGBTQ hangout Southern Nights, and his romantic partner Eric Patrick, 31, a teacher, were arrested earlier this month after being accused of accessing pornography involving boys from as young as six years old to prepubescent teenagers.

The pair are both also facing charges of conspiracy to entice a minor, attempted coercion, and the enticement of a minor.
