Thanks. I assumed this was true for all PWM type thingies...but it's not for the IAC valve which I wired backwards on my daily, fixed it, and it worked.

I've changed everything over from CAS to CKP/CMP, used the '01 injectors harness and cleaned the useless stuff out of it, cleaned the factory harness of stuff I don't use, and switched the TPS wiring. If this car starts it's going to be a miracle.

Radio, speakers, glass, half carpet, big rotors, complete dash, AC blower...I drive the car to the track so all that **** is staying. I'm in the class I want to be in, going lighter makes the drive less comfortable and puts me in TTC where I don't want to be (this car is not Crusher). When it's cool I like to blow air in my face with the windows up, I also don't like to burn my legs in the car. I might consider taking the stereo out since I pretty-much only drive it with headphones on.

Behold my new toy:

Car will run this weekend...if I got the wiring right. ****, I'm nervous now.

Hustler kindly offered to sever his **** if he doesn't go at least 3 seconds under the SM record (2:07) at ECR on the 8th, no sense in polluting the gene pool.

  1. I said I "need to", doesn't mean "I will"
  2. Can I plead down to a field vasectomy?

I'll throw you a bone and allow you to downgrade to field vasectomy. I'll replace my shears with a spoon that got caught in the garbage disposal last night. What are friends for after all.

Thoughts of pics of NB valve covers cut so I can get to the adjustable cam gears? The car may run on Monday.

Do you queers have any idea on how to configure MS2 to work with the TSE 12-1 (at 60*) to work with the factory NB CMP?

Thanks,

On my CKP and CMP sensors, I should be able to confirm the outside, power and ground connections without the car running, right?

1. pull cam sensor
2. plug in sensor to harness.
3. turn on MS
4. spin CAS by hand.
5. watch tunerstudio output.
6. Soup.

<shrug> worked for me.

You seem to be confusing the discrete MK2 sensors with the all in one MK1 CAS.
