Is there some way to get MS to help identify each injector? Since I'm using the NB injector harness, this is getting messy. I'm looking at the 1.6 diagram to get the wire colors, the NB diagram to get firing order, and then NB diagram for color. Does the NB diagram identify injectors by cylinder or order?

I have to replace the 1.6 harness. The clippies are all broken and the wire insulation turns to powder when you touch it.

Does the NB injector harness plug into the NA harness?

For the additional 2 wires you need to run, you can use spare evap wires if you want to run them back to the MS.

No, but I have a pig-tail for that.

I don't know that my car has evap wires. I may have clensed my car of them long ago with wire cutters because I could not find any last night.

I mean I can look up the color codes for you and tell you what color goes where on your NB harness....but I mean, you can look at that yourself (in diagram and in the damn harness itself) and figure it out.

you are making this harder than it needs to be, but then again you are:

First, your 1.6L only has 2 injector wires: yellow and yellow/black.

so you'll have to run 2 extra wires regardless...you can do like lars suggested and steal them from unused wires, like the purge.

the NB harness should be the following:

clyinder 1 - yellow/black
clyinder 2 - violet/green
clyinder 3 - yellow/red
clyinder 4 - yellow/green

It should be wired like this:

clyinder 1 - yellow/black - INJ A
clyinder 2 - violet/green - INJ D
clyinder 3 - yellow/red - INJ B
clyinder 4 - yellow/green - INJ C

I suggest you wire your factory ones above, so you're left with:

cly.----------NB---------output-------oem
clyinder 1 - yellow/black - INJ A - yellow/black
clyinder 2 - violet/green - INJ D - ???
clyinder 3 - yellow/red - INJ B - yellow
clyinder 4 - yellow/green - INJ C - ???

You need to run those extra two wires of your color choice, to clyinder 2 and 4.

This is exactly what I did. I also connected the two water temperature sensors via the 01+ connector. Red/Blue is the sensor output and Black/Red is the sensor ground. The Violet/White is the instrument water temp connection.

On the 90 harness water temp is as follows: Black/Light Green is sensor ground and Blue/White is the sensor output. The instrument water temp is the single remaining wire.

Hope this helps.

Driver and half carpet + full wire since it's still a street car. I usually drive ~3-6 hours to tracks around here so I like the comfort. I cannot limit power without burning valves so this is where I must stay for a TTD* base-class.

Do you understand what this question means? Either you don't have a CLUE what you are talking about....or you are accusing Hustler of not having a clue. Why the HELL would you ever corner weight a car WITHOUT the driver or WITHOUT fuel? The car needs to be "as raced" so unless you race the car without the driver or without fuel OF COURSE that weight was with fuel and driver.

I've said this 10000000000000000000000 times now, but will say it again:
Leafy knows exactly ZERO PERCENT of what he posts about.

It blows my mind that he isn't banned yet for spreading mis-information in every single thread and basically dumbing down the content on this site.

That was my nice way of saying why the **** is your car (or you) obese.
